Each week is designed for specific grade levels and offers an interactive and engaging learning experience with talented educators.

Students will take field trips to high-tech campus learning labs to meet college professors, see demonstrations, try out some of the exercise equipment, and find out what it takes to work in manufacturing, healthcare, or transportation.

This fall 2021 fifth and sixth grade camp is taught by Amanda Baxter and Brett Pritchett from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday July 13-15.

Third and fourth graders work in teams to set up their own lemonade stand. Participants choose a company name, design a logo and determine the cost. They develop a marketing plan, set up their booth on campus, and compete against the other team for top sales that will benefit the charity of their choice.

This fall 2021 third and fourth grade camp is taught by Courtney Bourne and Sydney Harper Tuesday through Thursday, July 20-22, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“We are excited to offer these new camp options this summer,” said Lanita Wilson, HCC Director of Program Facilitation. “We missed having our young friends and their families on campus and look forward to bringing youth programs like Kids in College Can Soar (KICCS) back on campus in 2022.”

Courses and snacks are mainly offered outside. The current CDC COVID-19 coronavirus guidelines for K-12 students are followed. From today there is no mask requirement outside, but inside. Each student should bring their own mask. Classes are limited to 15 students each with two teachers.

Tuition fees are $ 79.00 per student and include class materials, daily snacks, and a camp t-shirt. Register online at rebrand.ly/PathfindersCamp.
