Enroll at Roxbury Community College this summer

Roxbury Community College

Summer II courses at the RCC are a great way to earn college credits in just a few weeks.

While summer courses are shorter, they offer full college credits. Whether you’re starting your college education or looking to earn a few credits to graduate, RCC’s summer courses are designed for you.

The Summer II course at the RCC starts on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. All summer courses are offered in online, hybrid or virtual classes, which allows maximum flexibility.

Online: A fully online course with no set meeting times

Online courses are taken entirely online, with no face-to-face meetings. You can get the job done at a pace that best suits your schedule, but you need to submit assignments and exams by set deadlines.

Hybrid: A course with scheduled face-to-face appointments and an online component

Hybrid courses are taken on campus with set meeting days and times, while the rest of the tasks are done online.

Virtual: A full online course with scheduled meeting times

Virtual courses are taken online, but have fixed meeting times. You need to log in on the scheduled days / times and attend course reviews via web-based communication (Microsoft Teams or Zoom).

In Boston, you have many options to consider when deciding where to study. RCC is an excellent choice because:

1. RCC Makes College Education Affordable – Our tuition fees are among the lowest in MA, and our Office of Financial Aid can connect you to grant programs that offset program costs. A variety of state and city sponsored programs are available, and we also offer merit and on-demand scholarships.

2. Laptops are available – The RCC endeavors to make one available to every student who needs a laptop for the duration of their studies. We also have a limited number of WiFi hotspots available. With the RoxSTARS program, you always have the technology you need for your academic success!

3. Transfer all courses – All courses at the RCC are transferred to four-year institutions. You can begin your studies at the RCC and transfer your credits to any four-year school in due course. Our Office of Transfer Services offers dedicated, face-to-face support to ensure that you receive personal advice on transfer options and that your RCC transcripts arrive at the transfer facilities on time.

4th RCC offers a high quality educational experience – Our faculty members are dedicated to yours Success. Faculty members have spent countless hours ensuring that online and remote courses are of the same quality as classes on campus, so you get the full college experience no matter how the classes are offered. Faculty members remain available outside of the classroom for virtual and limited office hours on campus so you can get the support you need.
