Mumbai: ICICI Bank today announced the launch of the country’s most comprehensive banking solutions for doctors. Under the name “Salute Doctors”, it offers tailor-made banking transactions and value-added services for every doctor, from medical students to senior doctors to hospital or clinic owners.
Mr. Pranav Mishra, Head Liabilities, ICICI Bank, said, “Today, on National Doctor’s Day, we launched Salute Doctors banking solutions to thank and honor our lifeguards for their services and sacrifices. This offer is an extension of “ICICI STACK”, which we started a year ago in order to offer all banking services digitally from one platform. We have done extensive research on doctors at different stages of their careers – from medical students, senior medical officers, and hospital / clinic owners – to understand their banking needs.
The main offerings of ‘Salute Doctors’ are:
Salute Doctors savings account: This premium savings account is available in three variants – Wealth, Platinum and Gold.
Salute Doctors current account: Doctors are offered a premium checking account in three variants – platinum, gold and silver. You can apply online via the bank’s website or the InstaBIZ app.
Home Loans: Doctors, even those who are not existing customers of the bank, can take out loans up to. take advantage of ₹5 crore for mortgage loan areas such as home loans, home loan balance transfers, land loans, and loans for the purchase, construction or expansion of a clinic or hospital
Medical equipment rental: This is available to all doctors, regardless of whether they are a customer of the bank or not. You can get the medical equipment loan of up to. take advantage of ₹10 crore for the purchase of new and refurbished medical equipment. You can send HCF to 567677 to avail this feature.
Business Loans: Doctors can get a business loan up to ₹40 lakh with no collateral for their working capital needs or other business related expenses like renovating clinics / hospitals and buying medical equipment. Pre-approved customers of the bank receive the immediate payment of the loan amount.
Private loan: The bank offers digital personal loans up to ₹25 lakh with easy online documentation and quick turnaround.
Education loan: The bank offers industry first loans for medical education up to ₹1 crore called ‘Doctor Select iSMART Education Loan’. Doctors can avail this loan for themselves or their children’s studies at medical colleges in India or abroad.
Car loan: The bank offers up auto loans ₹50 lakh for doctors. The bank has developed a special repayment scheme called “Flexi EMI” that gives customers the flexibility to choose a low EMI for the first six months; thereafter the EMI is higher.
Setting up the online clinic: The bank has partnered with a knowledgeable digital concierge company to help doctors create an online profile of their clinic or hospital.
