Over the past few weeks we’ve seen a spate of top-tier credit card welcome bonuses from issuers like Chase and American Express, but – with the exception of the new Citi Custom Cash℠ Card – things have been quiet on the Citi front.

If you have the Citi Premier® Card, you can transfer your ThankYou points to all Citi airline partners, including Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and JetBlue. In fact, it is the only publicly available new applicant card that enables this (the Citi Prestige® Card

Insider’s point and mile ratings show Citi thank-you points averaging 1.6 cents each – largely due to the ability to transfer your points to partners and earn high value.

If you don’t want to mess with award tables or blackout dates, the easier way to use your Citi ThankYou points is by booking flights, hotels and other trips through the Citi ThankYou Rewards portal. When you redeem your points this way, they’re worth just 1 cent.
