Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg and Batesville Hires Matt Dole as Employer Consultant

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Students at Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg / Batesville can now participate in the college’s newly launched program, Career Coaching and Employer Connections (CCEC), which brings together career development and employer contacts to meet workforce needs become. This strategic approach will emphasize comprehensive professional readiness practices in addition to academic preparation throughout a student’s college experience. CCEC also benefits employers by helping them find top talent for their staffing needs and / or qualifying existing employees with tailored training.

Ivy Tech Community College in Lawrenceburg and Batesville is pleased to announce that Matt Dole has been appointed as an Employer Advisor for the CCEC program. Dole joined Ivy Tech on May 24, 2021 after a 30-year career in human resources and marketing. Mr. Dole recently served as chief human resources officer for General Electric Credit Union in Cincinnati. In the role of Employer Advisor at Ivy Tech, Dole will lead the liaison with employers, align talent pipeline development with employer and market demand, and help fuel the training and development needs of employers and community partners.

The CCEC team will work as a cross-functional team to assist students in assembling their career development portfolios and preparing them for their job search. This new team will work with companies to coordinate internships, study abroad, and work and study opportunities in the Lawrenceburg and Batesville coverage area in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio and Ripley counties.
